Ingredients

• 1 lb tomatillos, husked
• 1/2 C onion, fine chop
• 1 t garlic, minced
• 1 ea serrano pepper, minced
• 2 T cilantro, chopped
• 1 T oregano, chopped
• 1/2 t cumin, ground
• 2 C water

Instructions

1. Bring all the ingredients to a boil, then simmer until the tomotillos are soft.
2. Puree the mixture until smooth. Season to taste.
